How to Install the Battery Box - 23 inch cart

Re-Wiring your Mobile Flex Battery (2:19)

  • In this video, you will learn how to rewire your battery, Bose speaker, computer power, and cart's motor when adding the battery to an existing 23" system.

Battery Fun Facts & Best Practices:

  • The battery has a life of 500 cycles, which means if you drained it completely and recharged it to full, it would be 500 times.  If you don't drain it all the way every time, which is typical, it can be charged even more times.  I included a blog below that explains it all in case you want to know.

  • In this configuration, the “120V AC” button always needs to be turned on. Even if the cart is plugged into the wall, the “120 V AC” ports on the battery need to be turned on. If the battery has run out of power, after recharging, ensure this button is turned on.

  • Battery run times will vary based on usage. Generally, this battery should last between 6 and 10 hours. The display has an estimation of “Time Til Empty” in approximate hours for your convenience.

  • The iN2L system can be in use with the battery installed while plugged into the wall. This configuration allows for simultaneous usage and charging.

  • When the system is not in use, it is best to leave it plugged into the wall. Recharging the system regularly will keep the battery functioning at peak capacity. The average recharge time of the battery to full capacity is 8 hours.

  • It is not necessary to routinely discharge the battery completely. Current battery technology no longer requires this. Plugging the system into the wall regularly is advised.

  • Keep the key to the battery cabinet handy. Although the buttons and display are reachable through the door window, it may become necessary to take a closer look or troubleshoot a connection.
